Whether we like it or not, riding a motorcycle carries a level of risk.
It is unlikely that you learnt to ride because you had to – which may have been the reason you learnt to drive – you probably learnt because you wanted to. So you have already decided that the rewards are worth the risks.
What if we told you that we could dramatically improve the balance of the Reward vs Risk equation?
We can, by showing you how to lower the risks involved in riding whilst at the same time increasing the rewards in terms of your enjoyment from riding.
Using advanced riding techniques developed by the police riding schools, our post-test training courses take your riding to a much higher level than that required to pass the licence tests. These techniques will not only make you a smoother, safer rider, they will also improve your enjoyment from riding and enable you to ride more confidently and more relaxed.
Whether you have recently passed your test or have been riding for years, we can help you get more enjoyment from your riding whilst improving your safety.
Our post-test training courses are designed to teach you to advanced riding techniques as used by the very best trained riders on our roads – the Police. These techniques will develop your “ability to control the position and speed of the vehicle safely, systematically and smoothly, using road and traffic conditions to make reasonable progress unobtrusively, with skill and responsibility” – which is the definition of advanced riding.
What our post-test courses do not do is patronise you. You have passed your test and won the right to ride without someone telling you what to do. What we do is discuss the thinking and reasons behind the decisions you make, whilst also suggesting alternative ways of doing things where appropriate.
If you apply what you learn you will ride more relaxed, with greater confidence and increased safety, whilst at the same time enjoying and exploiting the capabilities of your motorcycle. You will be able to ride for longer without become fatigued and will still have that buzz that comes from riding.
Put simply, you will enjoy your riding more whilst being safer.
