Massive congratulations to Alex, who has passed both her module-1 and module-2 motorcycle tests at the first attempt and with scoring no faults on either test becomes the latest member of our exclusive “double-first, double-clean” club!

Alex’s busy work schedule meant that our regular DAS course wasn’t suitable, so we worked around her diary to ensure she was fully prepared for both tests and it certainly paid off with a flawless performance both on the module-1 manoeuvres and out on the road for her module-2 motorcycle test.

With both her and her partner, Simon, having bought brand new Triumph Street Triples, the pressure was certainly on when she took her tests, but that didn’t stop her from getting the best result possible. Paul (our instructor) then went with her to collect her bike from Youles Triumph in Manchester – I think he may have been a little jealous as the bike is simply stunning!

Congratulations to Jose, who achieved a  double first today by passing his Direct Access module 2 motorcycle test first time to go with his first time module 1 motorcycle test pass from Monday! Having now got his full category A motorcycle licence, he is in a quandary as to which bike to buy as he likes both Yamaha’s excellent MT07 and also the Harley-Davidson 883 Iron – quite a diverse choice and we look forward to seeing which one he chooses!

 

Jose’s double-first is yet another example of the effectiveness of our 3.5day DAS course and the quality of our instructors Paul and Nic, who split the responsibility for taking him through his DAS course!

An early Christmas present for David this morning, Christmas Eve, as he passed his module-2 motorcycle test FIRST TIME to get his full bike licence in time for Christmas!

David already has a collection of classic motorcycles, so now he’s got the licence needed to ride them, I wonder which he will choose for his first ride?

Another round of hearty congratulations are due this week to Chris, who only did his CBT with us last Tuesday, before embarking on our 3.5day DAS (Direct Access) course. He loved riding the Gladius, and worked hard to improve his skills, taking and passing his Module-1 motorcycle test at the first attempt on Monday.

Then today (Thursday) he took and passed his module-2 motorcycle test, also at the first attempt!

So now Chris has a full category A motorcycle licence and can ride any bike he chooses, no wonder he looks pleased!

It’s been a busy couple of weeks here at Inner Circle Training, despite the inclement weather resulting in cancellations of module-1 tests due to a water-logged test area!

In the last couple of weeks, Mike passed his mod-2 test for his category A2 motorcycle licence just a couple of days before jetting off to a new life in Spain!

Felicitaciones! Mike!

and today, both Camren and Steve passed their full category A motorcycle tests, enabling them to ride any motorcycle they fancy!

Well done, guys!

Another double first!

Congratulations to Anthony who passed his direct access mod2 motorcycle test first time this morning to go with his first time DAS mod1 test pass from Monday!

Well done!

Huge congratulations to Lee, who this morning passed his module-2 motorcycle test FIRST TIME. Nothing unusual about that, we have a lot of first time passes here at Inner Circle Training. No, the rare thing is that he recorded NO riding faults.

Again, not that rare, as we have had several of those too.

This pass also followed his FIRST TIME module-1 motorcycle test pass from Monday, also which was a clean sheet, with NO riding faults.

So that’s a Double-First, Double-Clean pass. Which is quite rare (about 8% of our passes are double-first, double-cleans).

But what makes this one special is that Lee did his CBT with us in June, having not ridden much before, then didn’t ride again until he started his 2.5-day DAS course. So to have achieved a double-first, double-clean with so little riding experience is quite something!

Well done, Lee!

 

This morning started as one of those typically British Autumn days – dark and wet. But that didn’t deter Tom, who had already got wet riding his own 125cc bike to our Training Centre before we went for our traditional pre-test ride on the Gladius. It was still raining at 8:20am when he set off followed by his examiner, Pete, and still raining when he returned some 35 minutes later.

But his damnness was worthwhile, as he passed his motorcycle test FIRST TIME with just a couple of minor riding faults recorded. A superb result considering the conditions!

Needless to say, it’s now stopped raining… but I don’t think Tom’s bothered either way, as he now has a full bike licence!

Congratulations to Alex, who has endured a long wait for half-term (he’s a teacher) so he could take his Direct Access module-2 test, which he passed this morning with flying colours!

Now he’s heading off to Hunts Honda to treat himself to a new bike, and we can’t wait to see it!
