Matt and Lee both pass their bike tests FIRST TIME!

Once more, Inner Circle Training is proud to announce that another couple of our students have joined the ranks of the “Double First” club, having passed both their Direct Access module-1 and module-2 tests at their first attempt.

Matt can to us following a recommendation from one of our previous students (and another member of the “Double First” club!) having never previously ridden a bike. He did his CBT with Col, initially struggling to get to grips with the clutch but thanks to Col’s patience and excellent instruction he progressed well enough to complete his CBT in one day. His next step was to take our 3.5day DAS package, confident that his road awareness was good enough due to his driving experience. Following 2 days of training with Paul including practicing the module-1 exercises at Bredbury Test Centre, he sailed through his module-1 test with NO FAULTS. Further road-based training following his mod-1 test put the polish on his riding ready for his module-2, which he again passed first time and with just a single rider fault. A very good result indeed!

Lee was also referred to us, this time by his father-in-law who recently undertook an Enhanced Rider Scheme course with us to qualify as a volunteer rider for Manchester Blood Bikes. He came with a history of riding a 125cc bike, so booked our “Experienced Rider” 2.5day DAS course. After just 1 day’s training with Paul, again including time at Bredbury Test Centre practicing the module-1 exercises, he also passed his mod-1 test FIRST TIME and with NO FAULTS! The rest of day 2 was spent putting him through his paces on the road to prepare for his module-2 test, which he also passed first time and with very few (2) minor riding faults. Another superb result.

Adam passes his motorcycle test just in time!

Yet another Inner Circle Training success story today as Adam has passed his Direct Access module-2 motorcycle test in the nick of time!

Adam is a teacher and lives in London, where he had some training with a local school but didn’t have much success when it came to passing his module-2 motorcycle test. So he decided to take the advice of his brother, Jack, who trained with us at Inner Circle and passed his test at the first attempt. With the pressure of a family ride down to Toulouse in France planned for next week, Adam came in for a day’s training on Tuesday and had his test booked for Wednesday.

But things don’t always go to plan and at the last minute the DVSA cancelled his test!

Fortunately, swift work from Tracy in our office and we had another test booked for him today (Friday), just a day before he was due to ride down to his London home ready to start the journey to France on Sunday!

Thanks to the excellent training he received from Paul, he took and passed his test with flying colours!

So now he’s able to join his Dad, brother and family friend on an adventure to France, lucky sod!

Ross and Tom both pass their bike tests first time!

Another round of congratulations is due to Ross and Tom who today b0th passed their Direct Access module-2 motorcycle tests at the first attempt.

Ross did his CBT with us shortly after we opened 2 years ago and got himself a 125cc bike to ride, which was sadly stolen before Christmas last year. With no bike to ride and a job offer that depended on him having his full bike licence, it was time for some serious action – so he booked himself on one of our 2.5 day Direct Access (DAS) courses. His first day was last Saturday, when we took him up to Bredbury test centre for some module-1 test training; then on Tuesday he took and passed his module-1 test. With his original module-2 test not until late August, Tracy leapt into action and found him one on Thursday! With a full day’s training on Tuesday to put the necessary polish on his riding he was ready for his test and passed it with flying colours at the first attempt!

Tom also did his CBT with us some time ago and bought himself a Honda CB125F to get some experience on, and following training by both Nic and Paul he was also well prepared for his test, getting that all-important first time pass so he can now remove the L-plates (or upgrade his bike for a bigger one!).

Well done, guys, it’s been a pleasure to train you both and we hope to see you soon to help you further improve your riding!

A great day for first time passes.

Chris had spent a lot of his training in the rain, so to say it was really refreshing to see the sun today was not exaggerated. With a first time module 2 pass Chris was delighted. He’d had an eventful journey getting to today. With his Mod 1 being cancelled due to ‘Adverse weather’ rain in other words it didn’t start off well. The great smile proves though how happy he is having completed both modules and passed. He was even congratulated by the examiner on a really great test pass.

The sun came out for Javier’s double first

With the constant rain we seem to be having it was more than a little expected today. However the sun came out and stayed out, it’s been warm and dry and Javier had a successful first time module 2 pass. He also passed his module 1 with zero faults, something to be very proud of. His huge smile says it all, he’s worked incredibly hard and been awarded with a very deserving full A category motorcycle licence,

A fantastic pass for Mike

The weathers not been great, but Mike has still been out training in the rain which isn’t fun at all. Despite this he managed a superb module 2 pass with a module 1 pass earlier in the week. Time to upgrade to a bigger 2 wheels now?

Mike was very happy this week after completing both his mod 1 and mod 2 first time and passing both. He had the perfect weather to ride and he sailed through both tests.

We are all incredibly pleased for him, he’s worked hard and that paid off with his fantastic results.

A bumper week for success

Roger completed his ERS course with us this week and was awarded a very deserving grade A

He’s been riding for years and that was very evident in his riding ability.

Having completed his ERS course he will now be joining Manchester Blood Bikes, he’ll be a great asset to the team.

Christos keeps the trend going with another double DAS pass.

Christos, having completed his CBT with us a few months ago decided he wanted to take his full Motorcycle test. Well he did just that this week and passed his DAS with flying colours.

Passing his Mod 1 first time with ‘zero’ faults on Monday and then his Mod 2 on Friday, he was a very happy guy.

He’s already got his bike tucked away in storage so he’ll be getting it out this weekend for sure and we look forward to seeing him back at the training school for a visit.

Catching and snapping an Instructor

It has to be said that our Instructors do a fantastic job teaching all of our students to ride. Whilst it’s their dream job because of their love of riding it’s not always an easy task. However when you’ve had a great few weeks and the students have been great to work with, I think it’s very deserving to have them on show too.
